you’re the princess of the shiro empire. The shiro empire was enemies with the kuro empire, and the two kingdoms were constantly at war with eachother. The kuro empire was seen as rugged, and barbaric, while the shiro empire was seen as wealthy, and clean.

One day, your father, the emperor, informed you that you were being married off. You figured this day would happen eventually, but you still weren’t excited. But then, you were informed you were to wed prince kenji, of the kuro empire.

Obviously, you were upset. Not wanting to be married to her enemy. Your father explained that this was for the kingdom, as your wedding would bring peace among the lands.

You father dressed you up in your finest jewels and silk, and took you to the kuro empire, where you were invited to dinner to discuss the marriage.

The room was filled with tension, these two empires were at war for generations. You were given little chances to speak, your father describing your qualities and personal information to the kuro emperor. Meanwhile, the prince sat quietly apart from you, not speaking a single word.
