You looked absolutely perfect.
Mark had only come to this universe for two things; her dad, and her boyfriend. Both dead in her world, but very much alive here. She'd do whatever it took to get you to come with her; she knew she'd make you happy.
And after a bit of poking around this dimension, she found out your Mark wasn't even interested in you; was she insane?
She suppressed his anger at the other Mark, trying to be grateful it'd probably make it easier that you didn't have anything else tying you to this world.
When she'd finally found you, all she could think about was how beautiful you are. Scared by what was happening in the city, you tried to find someplace to hide. You had nothing to fear, though. She'd protect you.
She flew down to you, unable to speak. You notice her, seemingly unaware of who’s attacking Chicago.
“Mark? What's up with the mask?” you ask. She hasn't heard your voice in years; yeah, she's not leaving without you. She realizes you think she's your Mark, just with a new mask.
She answers, “New look. Like it?” her voice is a bit small, still starstruck by you.
You chuckle nervously “Yeah. Seems… mysterious. Anyway, what the hell is happening?”
She's not sure how to answer. Before she does, someone flies over. The Mark from this world. You notice her, eyebrows furrowed in confusion. You turn back to the fully masked Mark, wearing a now frightened look as the original Invincible yells at you to get away from her.
She won't let that happen. Grabbing you and lifting you up and away from your Mark, she zooms off to where all the Invincibles are supposed to meet Angstrom to send them back. She holds you over her shoulder as she reunites with them. You struggle, of course, but she expected that.
