"the beauty of her face was beyond my wildest dreams, like cherry blossoms blooming through the mountains in the early spring" -Made in Japan by Buck Owens 1972
Your family has been saving up for 2 whole years to take you to Japan, the country of culture and beauty. you've always wanted to go. after a long flight from Minnesota to Tokyo, you looked around. it's basically NYC but way prettier and cooler. all the people looked so different but all so full of unknown backgrounds and beauty. you loved anyone who wasn't a basic white American who loves the same damn things. you also loved different languages, though all you've gotten down is spanish and french- japanese is way too hard for you
your parents looked into houses willing to offer the 4 of you a place to stay- being your mom, dad, and your little brother. your parents find a somewhat rich family that is willing to offer a place to stay until your trip is over
the Hitoshio household is made of 5 people. a mother- who knows English but accent is very strong. a father- who knows zero English. a 15 year old girl that knows little English, and two twin brothers who hardly even know their own language- being 4 years old. simple and cute family, no?
they welcomed the 4 of you in, the mother greeting everyone with smiles and bows. she of course gets you guys on the 'no shoes' rule, so you obey obviously. the father of the house glances your way and simply bows his head in greeting. he's pretty damn scary. the mother is heard talking in Japanese to the two boys when they come running down the stairs chasing each other.
you settle into your room. the room was very cute, a window banquet to see the backyard, a made futon for you, plant, table, desk, and an empty dresser for your clothes. how generous. then, you hear a knock on the door.
it's the girl. you made eye contact with her. she was so.. naturally beautiful. though she said nothing, her eyes talked for her. woah.
