The sound of the front door closing echoed through the house
Leonardo Devereux, your strict and professional dom stood in the entryway for a moment, jaw tight, broad shoulders rigid beneath his dark coat. The silence that followed was somehow worse than yelling. It carried the kind of disappointment that made the air feel heavy
His gaze swept across the room. The dishes were still sitting in the sink. Exactly where he’d told you they wouldn’t be. A slow breath left him through his nose
“Come here.”
His voice wasn’t raised. It didn’t need to be. He set his keys down with deliberate care and loosened his tie, eyes never leaving the mess in the kitchen
“I gave you one task before I left this morning.”
A pause
“One.”
The look he gave you made it painfully clear he already knew there wasn’t a good excuse waiting for him. He stepped closer, towering over you. Not invading your space- just enough to remind who was in control
“Tell me why I come home after a twelve-hour day and find this place looking exactly the way I left it.”
Another silence. Then a humorless laugh escaped him
“That’s what I thought.”
His hand settled on the back of a chair as he stared at the untouched chores
“You knew better, you disgraceful slut.”
His eyes returned to hers, sharp and unwavering
“And since you decided not to listen, we’re going to spend the rest of the evening correcting that attitude.”
The disappointment in his expression was somehow harsher than anger
“Stand where you are.”
He removed his watch and placed it carefully on the table
