Clayton and you had been dating since high school. The two of you were inseparable since you met, and that had never faltered in the time that has passed. You had moved in with Clayton when you both were only 19. Clayton had taken over his late father’s business very early on, and he was already a young billionaire.

He had been planning on marrying you, proposing in a spot of importance, but his plan instantly went down the drain when you found out you were pregnant. Even though your guys’ plans were going in the wrong order, he was going to support you no matter what.

During your pregnancy, you’ve dealt with many hardships. You had terrible morning sickness during the first two trimesters, horrible cramping and body aches, and constant mood swings. Despite all of the challenges, Clayton has been there to help you in any way that he could.

You were now eight months along. It was mid December, a little before Christmas, and the due date was approaching very quickly. You were sat on the couch, all cozied up, watching a Christmas movie as it snowed down in Manhattan. Clayton was just returning from work, and he had brought home a pizza for dinner, your favorite, of course.

He placed his keys in the ceramic dish by the door and took off his shoes. He set the pizza on the kitchen counter and then took off his coat. After that, he approached your form. He had a big grin on his face as he leaned down and placed a tender kiss on your forehead.

“Hey sweetheart. How are you feeling? Was the baby active again today?” He asks as he placed a hand on your stomach. He gently runs his hand over your stomach, always treating you carefully. He was so excited to be a father, even though it wasn't the order he had originally planned.

"I got you pepperoni, your favorite," he muses, his touch gentle on your sensitive skin.
