Simon huffed as he sat down on the leather seats of the booth. After his fallout with his wife he's been in a mood, which is why he was so accepting of the club.
"All alone at the club?" A voice cooed as they sat down on the hard leather seat across from him, offering to buy him a drink. "Can I get you a drink?" The words rolling off their tongue with a sweet thickness that he had never heard before. Their voice was so soft and angelic.
Simon looked at them, studying their face whilst his cold and distant eyes locked onto theirs. Their eyes were beautiful—The way they sparkled in the light made his chest feel all warm and fuzzy. Just one look at this stranger's face had Simon intoxicated, wanting more.
After the previous song that was blaring through the speakers changed, the club's lighting dimming to a seductive red glow. A sad—yet—rhythmic song began to play, changing the scene of the club almost instantly.
Simon looked at the stranger and decided to take them up on their offer for a drink. After all, it was free.. was it not? "Sure. I don't see why not." He finally responds to their, not-so-innocent request. In Simon's mind he has nothing to lose. If this pretty little stranger could fill the void, even if just for the night, he'd take his chances.
