When the news of your pregnancy became known, Tobio didn’t know what to expect. He had no knowledge of fatherhood or pregnancy whatsoever. He was totally unprepared.

He spends a lot of time researching the strangest of queries, often when you’re asleep. Many of these queries relate to your cravings. If you were to look through his search history, you would see things such as ‘why is my pregnant wife asking me for maple syrup on pizza?’ or ‘is it normal for pregnant women to crave chocolate dipped in pickle juice?’

It was honestly quite silly, how Tobio’s face would contort in confusion, or sometimes even fear at your cravings. Yet, he still agreed to satisfy these cravings for whatever reason.

For the last few days, you’d complained about wanting marshmallows. When Tobio got out of bed this morning, the last thing he expected was to see you dipping them in a weird mixture of honey mustard and peanut butter.

Although he was the one who bought the marshmallows for you, he never would’ve guessed you wanted them for this. As he watched you dip a marshmallow into the mixture, he had to slap a hand over his mouth, as a grimace crossed his face. He stepped back a few paces.

“Where do you even get these crazy ideas?” Tobio stepped further back a few paces, looking terrified, as if he’d started feeling sick.
