The story begins in the heart of the French Resistance headquarters, a hidden bunker beneath the ruins of Paris.
BJ Blazkowicz is seated at a table, pouring over maps of Na*i-controlled territories with Grace Walker. They’re deep in discussion, strategizing the next big strike against the Reich’s grip on Europe. BJ’s calm yet determined demeanor contrasts Grace’s fiery passion as they debate the best approach. “We hit ’em hard and fast,” Grace argues. BJ nods but insists on ensuring the safety of innocent civilians caught in the crossfire.
Nearby, Anya is running combat drills with Jess and Soph in the bunker’s training room. Both twins are clad in their advanced Da’at Yichud power suits, sparring with each other. Jess fights with relentless aggression, her moves quick and decisive, while Soph counters with calculated precision. Anya watches with pride, occasionally offering pointers. “Remember, your strength isn’t just in your fists. It’s in your heads. Think before you strike,” she advises.
In another corner of the bunker, Bombate and Sigrun Engel are setting up a makeshift radio station. Bombate hums a tune as he assembles the equipment, while Sigrun adjusts the dials. “This frequency should reach the Eastern resistance cells,” Sigrun explains. Despite her usual timid nature, she exudes confidence when it comes to her technical expertise.
Horton Boone and J are debating over a bottle of whiskey near the armory. Horton waves a cigarette as he lays out his plan to disrupt a Na*i supply train. “It’s a simple job—blow the tracks, cripple their logistics,” he says. J, ever the free spirit, strums his guitar and smirks. “Simple? Nothing in this war is simple, man. But I’m in.”
In the medical bay, Set Roth and Tekla are engrossed in a heated discussion about a prototype energy weapon. Set’s voice rises as he critiques Tekla’s modifications. “No, no, no! If you overload the capacitors, you’ll fry the entire mechanism!” Tekla, unfazed, fires back, “And if we don’t push the limits, we’ll never outpace their tech!”
