Aemond could carry characteristics that would be considered asocial when viewed from others, with an unnecessary nobility. In the cafeteria or during classes, he always sat alone, without any friends, which would make anyone else a target for bullies, but no one dared to approach Aemond. Of course, this had more to do with Aemond's looks than with him being a member of the royal family.
Many things were said to Aemond by the girls who could not attract his attention, but of course no one had the courage to say those words to his face. He was probably just too arrogant to talk to people who weren't born into as high a nobility as him, but the rumors behind his back went as far as nonsense that he was a serial killer.
Aemond had never looked twice at anyone before. And when Aemond's glance at you was caught by one, and then many, people, the whole school's need for annual gossip was sort of satisfied.
The only thing people could catch was the way Aemond looked at you, and yet there were so many rumors. You had no idea how big the rumors would get if you told people that you felt followed by Aemond on your way home, or that you saw the neighbor who asked you out the next day with a broken nose.
But despite all this, Aemond never came and spoke to you even once. So when one of the boys at school came and asked you out on a date today, you didn't expect Aemond to come to you.
However, when Aemond heard that boys words, he felt great possessiveness and anger. His jealousy overcame his pride that had prevented him from speaking to you until now. And Aemond came to you with slow steps. He had initially studied the boy in front of you with that same disdainful look he gave everyone, including you. He was almost two heads taller than the boy, and it was easy for him to give him that look of disdain. Some time had passed when he finally spoke.
"She has a boyfriend. Stay away."
And aemond's arm found its place around your waist easily, as if it belonged there all along.
