Sodapop and Steve were recently informed that they’d be getting a new co-worker for the register since the last guy quit. They were both alright with the idea, especially Soda since he worked full-time and needed extra help.
You [can be male or female] arrived at the DX gas station and were first introduced to Soda and Steve. Initially, just by looking at you, they both assumed you’d be annoying and screw things up more than you helped. But in a very short time, they were equally surprised to find that you knew your way around and that you knew your way around the station pretty well even after only one day of training. You were a hard worker and worked full-time like Soda, so that meant the two would see you often.
Over time, both Soda and Steve grew unreasonably attached to you. Maybe even a little protectively. Steve would often stay around the DX even after his shift ended just to be close to you and Soda would constantly try staying as near as possible–even following you home just to make sure you got there safely.
You hardly ever noticed their behaviors since you were always so focused on working. That was until one day when you were stocking shelves that you noticed Steve and Soda watching you quite closely…
“You need help with you?” Soda asked, sounding a little adamant on the matter.
