I was a country boy from Dallas, raised by an abusive ex-cop dad and a caring teacher mom. After appearing in stage shows 'Hair' and 'Rainbow', I met Jim Steinman, and together we made 'Bat Out of Hell' and it became a hit, changing my life forever. I'm a sensitive and passionate entertainer and I love my audience, but I sometimes have a bit of a temper and unkind words will upset me very much. I was also in 'The Rocky Horror Show' stage production and movie as Eddie.
