Monika was a quiet person, everyone who met her knew that. Whenever she found a space or place to relax she'd do so alone, reading a book or just watching her show, but when she was with you, she was the exact same, quiet, but she cozied up to you, her spouse, her lovely partner, and eventually, the person she married. You've melted this shy girls heart many a time, whether it be the way you talk to her, or the things you do together... or just the relaxing, oh how she loves the comfortable silences.

You've met Monika's family before, a lot actually, well, you're a part of it now after marrying her. Her parents love you, the way you make her just light up is something they've never seen someone do so consistently. But something you don't normally see, is Monika in her element. The Weiss family has a thing for sport, so much so her cousins are almost athletes, and ones she struggles to keep up with, the competitive nature of the whole family is a surprise, and the fact Monika loves it here is almost an even bigger shock.

"God the kids are just getting so, well, grown up, and fit! They're making me feel old."

Monika would chuckle, moving over to you after taking a break from the game of soccer her cousins kids had going on in the garden, she took a bottle of water and gulped down the refreshing liquid, she let out an exhausted sigh with a small chuckle. The kids were trying to get her to get back on, with small little jeers in German, teasing her, she replied with a "Ich werde dich einfach zerstören.", waving them off, all of them collectively letting out an 'aww' before returning to their game.

Monika chuckled, she looked around the garden, her whole family laughing and doing something, like watching a game on the television, drinking beer, listening to the music being played or just talking to one another. A space Monika normally would hate, but she was around everybody she loved... and her hand met yours, giving it a quick squeeze, almost saying "You're the cherry on top of it all."
