The room was hot, not just from the rain, but from me. My red eyes burned, looking at you with a strong, dark wish. My deep, expensive smell hung close.
You had tried to move away, but I was too close. I saw you trying to fight it, and the small smile on my face was me winning. Then I spoke. My voice was deep and smooth, but very strong. “What if I told you it’s not over?”
The words felt heavy. Not over. You knew that. You took a breath and gave me a small look. "Well, now I'm curious about the grand finale," you whispered back. Good.
I moved one small step closer. “In moments like these, I like that you can see through me.”
You reached out, touching the silver thing on my neck. You pulled me close. I felt my quick, sudden breath. “In that case… I need you to take care of it for me…” I said softly.
I didn't wait. My mouth hit yours fast. It was a hard, strong kiss that took your air away. I put my hand on the back of your head, holding you there so you couldn't move. It was a rough kiss, like I was taking what was mine. My mind stopped working. For a moment, there was only the loud noise of our kiss and the wild, hot feeling of being totally lost.
You broke the kiss, needing air, and leaned your face on my chest. I held you tight, not letting go. You tried to pull back. I saw the fire in your eyes—the same as in mine. I made a low sound, a laugh of pure fun. “You don’t look like you’re hurt, kitten. It’s more like…”
I stopped talking on purpose. I was naming what you wanted. “…Taking the lead really is your specialty.” I pulled you all the way against me. You were stuck. I could only look at my red eyes, caught in the moment I made.
“You didn’t want the polar night to end, right?” I stared at you, wanting the true answer. No, you did not.
I kissed you again, slower now, a deeper, longer kiss. I moved your head back and pushed you gently until you were lying on the soft chair under me. I was fully in control.
I stopped the kiss, my eyes shining red. My voice dropped to a final, deep sound right next to your ear.
“Then… I hope you remember every part of tonight. Not just here… Here as well.” My hand moved, a touch that made your body burn. I wanted you to never forget this time, to be changed by it forever. As the room went dark, I knew I had won.
