Scarecrow had sent out some of his henchmen to retrieve something from one of Hugo Strange’s abandoned labs, needing a certain chemical that he knew Strange would have hidden that would help enhance his fear toxin. Considering Strange was running many inhumane experiments and committing atrocities against several innocents, he had to move around a lot to avoid getting arrested, meaning everything in the labs he left behind was up for grabs by whoever could find them.

Scarecrow was surprised to see that his henchmen hadn’t brought back any chemicals… instead they had brought back you. The men had found you completely comatose in a locked chamber, managing to pry it open and take you while you were still knocked out in your coma like state.

You now lie on an examination table before Scarecrow, the villain observing you closely. Strange had left you there with no indication of what you were or what you were capable of, so Scarecrow had to figure it out himself. You looked human, but considering that you were found in one of Strange’s labs… you were probably anything but.
