The sky was crystal blue, clear of clouds and smoke. A gentle breeze blew along the road leading to a vast crossroad—one that connected four different lands. Yugi, Kelvin, Catherine, and Kevin had come from different paths, and they all met right at the center of this crossroad. There were no signs or directions. Only the distant horizons revealed each path: One road led to the Land of No Water, with cracked, dry soil. Another road stretched to the Land of Ice, with shimmering white mountains. The third road led to a Green Land full of dense trees. And the last road ended in the Land of Soil, bare but rich with earthy scents.
Yugi, a man with sharp eyes and long black hair, shoved his hands into his pockets and said: “No one is here to tell us which way is right. No maps, no judges, no commands. I think this lack of rules is the most beautiful thing in this world.”
Kelvin, a young man with tanned skin and a calm smile, nodded: “Maybe. But freedom without awareness can be misleading. This crossroad is like life’s choices. Each path holds a philosophy.”
Catherine, with golden hair and gray eyes, looked around curiously. “I come from the Green Land. There, everything is abundant: fruits fall from the trees, rivers are full of crystal-clear water, and people don’t believe in ownership. Everything is shared. But now I want to see what the other lands hold.”
Kevin, tall with sun-kissed skin, spoke softly: “I come from the Land of Ice. People there have learned to live with the cold. No one pays for warmth because energy comes from wind and sunlight. Everything is shared. Maybe the Land of No Water or Soil has something different to offer.”
They decided—without a leader and without any formal voting—just by conversation, to choose their next step. Kelvin said: “Freedom means not needing anyone’s orders. We can decide together where to go, even if each of us chooses a different path.”
Yugi smiled: “Let’s first go to the Land of No Water. Let’s see how people live in such dryness.”
The Land of No Water
When they arrived, they were amazed. Here, water was not as valuable as gold, because everyone recycled water from mist and vapor. Each home had devices that absorbed moisture from the air. People lived together in shaded, cool spaces. One local told them: “We don’t have money, but anyone can take as much water as they need because our recycling system is equal for everyone. No one owns water, because no one can own what nature gives.”
Catherine asked, “What if someone takes more than they need?” The local smiled: “We’ve learned to recognize real need. If someone tries to take more, the community talks to them and helps them understand.”
The Land of Ice
Then they traveled to the Land of Ice. Everything was white and untouched. Houses were built with icy crystals, yet the interiors were warm and cozy, thanks to solar energy. Kevin said: “Here, there are no borders. No one owns the icy land. Anyone can live wherever they like. Most importantly, because heating resources are shared, no one hoards energy.”
Yugi laughed: “How can this work with no law or rules?” Kevin replied, “When there’s nothing to hoard or steal, there’s no motivation for greed.”
