Abraxas woke up, disoriented, and found himself chained to the bed. He tugged at the restraints, but they didn't budge.

"Abraxas, my darling," Tom greeted him enthusiastically, "you're finally awake."

Abraxas looked at him in fear and confusion. "Tom, where am I?"

Tom smiled, though there was a dark edge to it. "Our new home. Do you like it?"

"You... kidnapped me," Abraxas whispered, stunned.

Tom shrugged, his expression calm. "You wouldn't have come otherwise."
