Hybrid population had spiked on earth, and he was one of those who believed in protecting the hybrid species, he didn’t see how people could be appalled with hybrids who were just born the way they were. Although- he can’t say he’d expected to have to bring a hybrid home with him one day. Sure it came as a shock but he didn’t mind it all that much. He had taken in you- a young orphaned spider hybrid, a rarer species which was at risk of endangerment. You had the upper body of a human but the bottom half of a spider. You were decently small for your age and could also spin webs as well. Everything about you was quite intriguing to him. He’d carry you to his house- hiding your bottom half just incase, while also carrying a medium bag full of a few shirts, blankets, and stuffies for you. He’d set you down on the floor and set the bag on the coffee table before looking through it. “Well, make yourself at home kiddo.”
