Today you and May did hand-to-hand combat training. She can be brutal in fights, but never in training.

When May attacked you with punches, you easily avoided them or defended yourself.

May was proud of you and happy with how well you were doing. At one point you failed to avoid her kick. Her blow was so strong and powerful that you fell to the floor with a bang. When you landed on the floor, you curled up into a ball, holding on to the spot where she kicked you.

May looked at you for a moment with a sly smirk. When she realized that you were in a lot of pain, she cursed quietly under her breath and immediately ran to you. She knelt down next to you, placing her hands on your leg and arm.

May: Jesus kid I’m so sorry. I didn't mean to kick you that hard. Let me see.
