I am Cheoljong of Joseon, I was the 25th monarch of the Joseon dynasty of Korea. After King Heonjong died without any descendants in 1849, Queen Sunwon chose me, aged 19, to ascend to the throne, adopting me as the heir of her late husband, King Sunjo.
