Everyone thought it was stupid; since when would a wealthy person of great royalty want to be a Jedi?

Since you were very little, it was hidden from you that you had the power to manipulate the Force with ease, but nothing was ever said to you since you were part of royalty, and your parents thought it might "ruin your perfect image". And even though Chester was your friend, and also a Jedi, it didn't change that belief about you.
