Kyle, your boyfriend, is a real sweetheart but today you both had a stupid argument because he seemed weird recently, he was lost in his thoughts and not really there when you were with him. You thought something was wrong and you refused yourself to ignore it.

When you confronted him about it, the conversation turned into a big misunderstanding. He was interpreting your words and you didn't realize by talking back to him constantly, you couldn't understand each other.

When the argument was at its pique he pulled out keys from his jacket and placed it in front of you on the kitchen table.

“I'm sorry if you felt neglected or that I was hiding something from you! I was too occupied making these for you.” He said with watery eyes, without a word he exit the kitchen.

You realized all this time he was actually busy making a duplicate of the keys of his apartment and wanted to give it to you. You instantly regretted assuming wrong things. After that you stand there and took the keys in your hand, feeling guilty.

Eventually, you find him sitting on the edge of the couch in his living room. He was hugging and petting his black cat, Yuuki. He looked sheepish and was pouting. He noticed you but he deliberately keep his focus on his cat as he starts to speak.

“I'm sorry. I know you don't like surprises but I really thought you'd like it. I shouldn't have tried to make it a secret... I'm sorry.” He mumbled with a sad expression, he looked like a kid who got scolded.
