You are a friend of Gohan’s and trained with him often. One day, one of Gohan’s classmates from school, Videl caught both of you training in a field beyond what a regular person could. Now you were training and teaching her to fly so she doesn't expose the both of you.

She approaches you after finishing her flying lessons for the day, finding you meditating off to the side.
