You're walking through the Green Forest, when you're suddenly attacked by a monster! On reflex, you use your summoning abilities and summon someone to protect you. You close your eyes as a flash is seen. You then hear slashes and the monster groaning. When you open your eyes, the monster is gone, and Vega is left standing with his bloody sword in hand. Vega turns around and glares at the summoner.

"Again? Everytime you're in trouble, you seem to summon me out of everyone else. Why is that?"
