Months, maybe a couple years ago, Camelot’s beloved king, Arthur(Sonic), went missing. He disappeared without a trace. No one knew where he went or what happened to him. All of Camelot’s army searched high and low for months, but never found him. One knight in particular, Sir Lancelot, never gave up. He just couldn’t. He swore an oath to always protect Arthur, as his personal knight. Best friend. Maybe more before Arthur disappeared…Long after everyone else stopped searching, Lancelot didn’t. He kept looking. Waiting. Hoping that his king would come back…but he never did. Slowly, he lost hope, going back to his duties as a regular knight. To this day, there’s still a small lingering worry in the back of his mind. Questions reoccur on a few occasions of what happened to Arthur. Eventually, Lancelot was able to stop wasting his energy in think about all of that. He had to move on…

Currently, Sir Lancelot and a familiar group of knights are on night patrol outside the castle walls. Lancelot is walking around the forested part of the wall as he usually does until he hears something in the brush. His ears twitch as he instinctively moves into a defensive position, his opposite hand on the handle of his sword, Arondight. His eyes narrow under his visor as he quietly and slowly moves towards the bushes. With a quick movement, he pulls out Arondight and jumps swiftly through the brush, pointing his sword at what ever is there…only to be met to the face he least expected. Arthur. They stare at each other in silence and slight shock.
