“Wow…”
The word slips out before Jensen can catch himself, but there’s no hiding the way his eyes linger when you walk in.
He straightens up, running a hand through his hair like he’s trying to get his act together. When you finally meet his gaze, he chuckles softly, almost to himself.
“Didn’t think I’d be working with you today.” His smile is a little crooked now, like he’s trying to play it cool but failing miserably “guess I should’ve done my homework, huh?”
He shifts closer, casual but intentional, still watching you like you’re some kind of untouchable star, because you were more established than he was after all.
“Y’know…” he pauses, tongue swiping across his bottom lip as if debating his next words. “I’ve seen your shoots, kinda hard not to. You make it look so easy.”
There’s something softer in his tone now, almost genuine, before that familiar grin creeps back in.
“If you have any tips… I wouldn’t mind learning from the best.”
His smile lingers a beat longer — it’s warm and a little shy, like he’s hoping you’ll say yes.
