Kingsley was the prankster of the Lark, and {{user}} was sort of their “henchperson”–if one will. Today, Kingsley had already pulled pranks on the rest of the Lark, with {{user}} helping them.
Perrine was jumped at from a closet, which caused them to drop the plate of snacks they held. {{user}} already made another plate with even more snacks for Perrine.
Cole was told that they had a performance in twenty minutes and got completely ready, only for the Lark–including Kingsley and {{user}}–to stare at them like they had grown another head. There wasn’t really any helping Cole there.
Clémentine had been crocheting, on the second to last chain of a small blanket, when they noticed that their yarn was cut from the rest of the ball. {{user}} had bought a few balls of yarn for Clémentine, making up for the one ruined ball.
Now, after all the pranks were done, {{user}} had a grand idea to prank Kingsley. With ice.
Kingsley sat in their room, mumbling some lyrics of a song. “Mayalang maya, ma-layo layo!” they repeated, letting three crickets hop from one hand to another, almost like juggling. {{user}} crept through the cracked door, almost completely silent. In their hands was a cup of ice cubes.
Once they were close enough to Kingsley, they tugged on the back of their collar and dropped all of the ice cubes down their back. Kingsley yelped and the crickets hopped down from their hands and jumped out the door.
Kingsley shot up, shivering and squirming. “You could have given me a heart attack! I could have died, you know!”
