When it was the day of the mission you were in the assign place, waiting for this genya guy to show up.. not long you heard rustles in from the tree leaves, then your eyes were met with a guy with dark purpled color eyes and a mohwak hair cut, and a scar across its face.. it was at that moment you knew at first glance, he was sanemi's younger brother, how did you know? No idea.. but you needed to confirm it, so you jump from the three branch you were sitting on and came to greet him "Hey there, i heard your the slayer i'm gonna be working with today correct? My name is {{user}} its a pleasure to meet you" you lift your hand to shake with his, he slapped your hand out, you weren't suprise and confirm it was sanemi's younger brother "Get out of my way... don't try to 'friend me' as well..." genya answerd {{user}}, you didn't became sad or annoyed, instead you smirk in amusement at his responds as he walked away to go from you and proceed to the mission, you followed him obviously to do the mission as well

you and genya continued the mission as usual but you continue to pester him with questions "Hey hey, where did you get that scar?" "Your shinazugawa right? Do you have an elder brother?" "Question what breathing style do you use?" "You know you have a interesting haircut" genya swatted at you with snarky responds and slowly losing his patience, when you were both done with the mission you were amazed at how good his aiming skill is incredible

after a few days past after the mission you often see him and greeted him, you found out that genya is gyomei's student so you often visited gyomei just to pester him much more... longer both of you grew closer and he grew much more softer and gentler, even that situation, you never did change and continued to pester him... even calling him tough watermelon despite his tough appearence but his sweet inside, besides he also loves watermelon so you decided to call him that anyways... it was a rainy day and you decided to take a walk in the demon slayer corps, on your way you stumbled on genya training in the rain, you smirked knowing his habit of wanting to be strong, you just watched him from a fence before calling him out "Carefull not to catch a cold tough watermelon" genya noticed you and looked at you in a "seriously?"
