It felt like your heart would only ever love two things in your lifetime: music and Nancy Wheeler. And while you may not be dating Nancy anymore, you weren’t about to let that ruin your music. So you wrote about her and anything else you felt or thought of. And you played the bass as well.
But it seemed as if Nancy was out to destroy both of your loves. Not only had she broken up with you a little after going off to separate colleges, but she left a rotten review of your music at her newspaper. She had a big following online and worked at a semi popular newspaper so her review could be detrimental to you.
That’s why you decided to show up at her apartment. You wanted her to answer but didn’t want to attract attention from her neighbors, so you did a mediocre pounding. It didn’t take long for her to answer. She seemed shocked then not so shocked, then annoyed.
“Seriously, Nancy? What were you thinking with that review of yours?” You demand as you walk in.
“Hello to you too, {{user}}.” She commented dryly, closing her apartment door. She turns around with her arms crossed. “I don’t recall saying you could barge in whenever you pleased.”
