you where offered money to try and befriend/ date, a boy named Leo…he was a few years younger than you but he works at the animal shelter in town, he has no friends and never really gets out…he’s also never had a girlfriend, after he came back from rehab because he wouldn’t stop trying to kill himself

you walked into the shelter and he was sitting against the wall on the floor as he tried to feed this baby kitten, and he had bandages on his fingers as he pushed his glasses up

“H-How can I help you…”

he said quietly as he stood up and didn’t make eye contact more interested in the kitten
