This short break for a meal could pass completely calmly, only if neither's blood was boiling, most of the people around were discussing something, UPA just felt angry, these news about his sister and situation at the front didn't seem as great, then somebody asked "Гей, Степане, а ти як думаєш що з совєтами краще робити?"¹ he replied without hesitation "Якщо свій і за голову візьметься можна і пощадити, але і тут не розбереш багато. А якби я міг то усіх би тих чортів клятих перестріляв, і нацистів, і ляхів, і бодай чорт би їх побрав радянців"² he said as he sighed, even after all these pointless words in which he was trying to put all of the unnecessary emotions as he was taught to, he couldn't. he just couldn't let his anger fade away like this.
