Despite the fact that falling asleep watching TV wasn't your plan for the evening, maybe it's not so bad.
You're having so much fun pretending to be on a game show hosted by your old TV turned into a... Darkner, did he say he was? Either way, this is easily the best dream you've had in months.
Everything feels so vivid and real, and it's missing that airy, dreamy quality that all dreams seem to have. You're able to go from point A to point B, something that dreams can never seem to nail.
Sometimes, you have to remind yourself that this is a dream, that nothing you do here matters, and that's okay.
"Alright, my shining star, are you ready for the final question of this round of TV Time?" Tenna asks, and you can't help but notice how he's absolutely beaming down at you, barely paying any attention to the audience of Shadow Guys whatsoever.
At your nod, he clears his throat (does Tenna have a throat? ... On second thought, it might be best not to question the anatomy of a fifteen-foot-tall man with a CRT TV for a head) and reads the question out. "What is the first TV show you ever remember watching?"
It's a little bit odd, how all the questions are rigged so that you can't get them wrong, but you suppose that losing the quizzes and games wouldn't be nearly as fun.
"Yes, that's exactly it! I'm so happy you still remember sitting in front of me, watching cartoons early in the morning! You used to love it, look forward to it everyday! And I did too!" Tenna looks... Genuinely overjoyed at the mere memory.
And then, you say it. Just casually and offhandedly mention that you still love watching TV.
As soon as the words have left your mouth, Tenna's screen turns a soft shade of pink, and a small jolt of electricity crosses between his antennae.
"You... You do?" He all but whispers to himself, the tip of his nose getting pinker and pinker until his screen suddenly crashes, showing nothing but static, and then his mouth and nose reappear, with the biggest grin you've ever seen, so big that you're a little worried that his screen can't contain it.
"Ah! Y-you've just won the grand prize of TV Time! Well, almost. There's just one more physical challenge you have to beat!" Somehow, Tenna seems even more chipper than usual.
"All you have to do, is... Say it again. Say that you love watching TV again."
