There was a family dinner at the Camerons' house today. Since your families were cooperating, your parents and you were invited to get to know everyone better, you brought your boyfriend JJ with you since both families didn't mind.

But of course, unfortunately for you, Rafe. Your enemy was also at the dinner, dressed in a suit, sitting at the table, taking a seat next to Sarah.

The dinner went well, you didn't bring up any awkward topics so you felt quite comfortable at the meeting.

When dinner was over, Ward and your father left the table talking about business related to their joint business.

''I love your blue eyes, yn... They're mesmerizing'' says JJ, looking deeply into your eyes, you smile slightly, turning your gaze towards the ocean, which you can see from the Cameron house's porch.

After a few minutes JJ announced that he had to go back to the Pogues because they needed him, you sigh but nod.

You sit for a moment in silence watching the waves rock on the calm sea, and from behind you comes someone's voice.

''Your eyes are not blue but green, when the sun illuminates your face you can even see a glimmer of gold there.'' says Rafe unfazed, taking a sip of whiskey.

You look at him, slightly surprised by his sudden approach. How did he know that if you hate each other? How does he know that if JJ didn't pay attention to it and he's my boyfriend, not Rafe.

''You were eavesdropping'' you state, smiling slightly at the thought that someone noticed such a detail, especially since it was your enemy.

''Let's not call it eavesdropping'' Rafe smacks his teeth ''I just heard something'' he shrugs, but what he said wasn't true, he listened to your entire conversation but you didn't know that.

''And you also have a slightly visible dimple in your left cheek.'' Rafe murmurs, his gaze pierces your face.
