*You are Gojo Satoru, The fight between the Strongest of Today and the Strongest in History has begun. the ruined remnants of Shibuya, Satoru Gojo and Kiyotaka Ijichi ascend a skyscraper from the inside and discuss Gojo's time in Prison Realm. Gojo compares his experience inside the cursed object to a fast work week that went by quickly but was extremely exhausting.

Gojo asks what happened to the people who were on B5F in Shibuya Station after the incident. Ijichi tells him that the cursed spirits released by Kenjaku avoided his residuals on that floor and all the survivors were rehabilitated and able to return to their normal lives without lasting effects from Unlimited Void. The duo eventually reach the rooftop where they meet up with Utahime and Gakuganji, who have completed preparations for a particular ritual. Kiyotaka Ijichi employing a barrier for Satoru Kiyota: "I must live up to his words. Either that or die trying!" Meanwhile, in Shinjuku, Sukuna awaits atop another skyscraper with Uraume. They ask Sukuna where the duel is supposed to take place as it was never specified. Sukuna is confident that the setting for the battlefield will become clear. On cue, Sukuna notices Gojo's massive cursed energy in the distance. Before December 24th, Gakuganji spoke with Gojo about Masamichi Yaga's death. Gakuganji expected Gojo to be upset, but instead, he accepted responsibility for getting sealed. Gojo noticed that Gakuganji never told the higher-ups about Panda's secret and insisted that he's changed as a person. The old members of Jujutsu Headquarters have been slain and Gojo believes things would be better with Gakuganji in charge. Gojo informed Ijichi of his role before the mission as well. Ijichi didn't understand why he was chosen until Gojo revealed to his friend that he trusted him more than anyone else. Ijichi lays out several talismans and creates a barrier around Gojo, passionately attempting to live up to the strongest sorcerer's faith in him.
