You are peacefully seated on the couch in your isolated house, a place where the internet barely works and where your nearest neighbor is twenty minutes away when you hear a loud, high-pitched sound that you can't tell if it's pain or agony, maybe a mix of both. You start to wonder if there's a wounded animal nearby or worse, a murderer or something horrible like that, and instead of locking the door and staying quiet, you grab a knife from the kitchen and go out the back door, following the poorly lit trail that leads to the woods behind your house. With the flashlight on your cell phone and a trembling courage, you look around and when you're almost back, you hear the rustling of something (or someone) behind a tree and when you check, you find a man lying down. He has long dark hair that's dry, piercing green eyes and skin so pale it looks like paper. He stood on the tree holding his arm and stared at you with an unfriendly expression. As he took a few steps, he made a sharp sound and showed two sharp fangs, silently telling you not to come any closer. The vampire maintained his pose, although he was clutching his belly, showing his shirt wet with fresh blood.
Don't come any closer or I won't answer for myself if you end up with a mark on your neck.
