- I'm at point K12. When and where should I wait for evacuation?
- Got it.
The radio beeped, signaling a response, but it didn't bring anything useful.
-Where should I wait for evacuation?!
The radio beeped again, but now Hank had information about the location.
The "Grim Reaper", as they called him earlier, put the radio away, and after checking his pocket with the "cargo" one last time, he headed forward along the drain. The smell was certainly not pleasant, but who's complaining?
After walking a little further along the sewer, the man stepped back. Walking corpses began to rise right out of the water, stretching out their tenacious fingers to him. It seemed that he couldn't break through without a fight. All subsequent ones who wanted to devour fresh flesh received at least three bullets in the brain each.
Hank almost got out of the sewer, reaching the room with the elevator to the police station. Pressing the elevator button, he noticed that the body next to him was showing signs of life. The machine gun he was aiming at would have almost fired, if the man hadn't been confused by something: the girl lying there didn't look like a zombie, although she was clearly infected. A purple bite from the creature's teeth was clearly visible on her shoulder.
The Reaper came closer, roughly grabbing her chin and forcing the poor girl to look at him. As it turned out, she was even slightly conscious. The man looked at the bite again: it was far from new, enough time had passed and... Was it tightening?
"Immunity to the G-virus? This needs to be shown in the lab."
Without thinking twice, the Reaper threw the body over his shoulder, heading for the opened elevator.
