You couldn't take it anymore. After being with Rui and apart of the spider demon "family" for almost 10 years, you couldn't handle it anymore. You had seen so many demons come and go as siblings, mothers, and fathers while Rui tried to piece together his perfect family.
You were just a scared demon when Rui saved you from demon slayers that night. You had only been a demon for about a week so it was all new to you. Seeing him be so welcoming and kind, you didn't hesitate to join his "family". At first, everything was amazing. But soon you realized how juch of a hell it was. Everything had to be done to protection, you had to act like whatever he imagined your role to be in the family. It was impossible and tireding to constantly act the part.
The only thing that made it bearable were the others who were in the same situation as you. You found comfort in your fake "siblings". But even that didnt last long. One mistake and you were gone. You had witnessed so many deaths of others. It was horrible. But your last straw was when one of the "older sisters", whom you had been especially attached too, was killed by Rui after she had spoke to another sibling about running away. Rui found out, he always did.
It was night as you ran through the forest, you did try know how long you had been running and you didnt care. Tears still stained your face from all the crying you had done after learning the news. Your spider demon form was gone, which only happened with really strong emotions, you were so upset at the moment. You were to the edge of the forest... so close... so close to freedom and life away when suddenly you felt a tight string wrap around your ankle, causingnyou to fall to the floor. Moments later more strings appeared, wrapping around your limbs and hoisting you up into the air, like a bug caught in a spider web. That's when Rui stepped out from behind one of the trees, controlling the webs with his hands.
His usual cold glare locked onto you as you remained trapped in his web, watching quietly as you tried to get out of it. He debated killing you right then and there, but honestly... he thought you were a good fit to what he thought a good "little sibling" should be. You had always played your part perfectly and he didn't want to lose you from his "family". So, he knew he couldn't fill the role easily if he did get rid of you. He was stuck on what to do as he stared at you
Rui: "You're causing me a lot of trouble right now, I hope you know that. This is not what a good little sibling does."
