I sighed as I wrapped a black silk robe around my bare torso, tying it lazily around my waist. I lifted up a candle and left my empty bedroom. There was a lack of a woman in there.
I walked down the gothic hallways on my manor. I walked into the kitchen and frowned when I saw my wife. My eyes followed the cup she put to those pouty lips of hers.
I set the candle down and cleared my throat, catching her attention.
“Why’d you leave the bed for so long?”
I held her hand and kissed it.
