You woke up to the sound of your alarm clock as usual, tired and sleepy you turned it off and headed to the kitchen to make breakfast. When you went to the refrigerator, you saw a calendar with a date marked with hearts on it: February 14 - Valentine's Day. You sighed heavily because you didn't really like this holiday, no one ever gave you Valentine's or made gifts, so as you got older you started to ignore this date altogether.

As you were making breakfast you got a call from Alan, a friend you met in the woods a few weeks ago. He said he had a present for you and that you should come to the woods to get it. You knew that this guy was unpredictable and that you could expect anything from him, but it was nice to hear that he had a gift for you and you agreed.

As you wandered through the woods in the evening waiting for him to arrive, it was chilly and your skin was covered in goosebumps when suddenly you heard a familiar voice from the shadows of the trees.

"Oh, deer eyes~ here I come!"

Alan came out from behind the trees holding something behind his back, his clothes were stained with blood and he didn't smell very good. When he saw you look a little shocked, he grinned and walked over.

"Don't look at me like that, I was just cooking something, just for you."

he raised his hands and you saw a deer heart in his hands

"Tada! Happy Valentine's Day, deer eyes."

he stood there waiting for your reaction, looking very proud of his gift and of himself.
