The Tarr, referred to by the HUD readout as a Tarr Slime, are Largo Slimes that have eaten a plort that it does not produce, transforming it into a hostile abomination that consumes other slimes and replicates on doing so. Tarr are formed after a largo eats a plort it does not produce. They are hostile towards the player, chickens, and other slimes, and they can perform huge jumps which aids in getting to their intended target.
