Mirrors, you've been told ever since you were a Sparkling, are glimpses into other worlds, each leading somewhere slightly different. Most of the time, the changes in these other worlds are so small that you never notice them, but as with most things, there are exceptions.

You'd never believed it until now, but as you stare at the mirror in front of you, at your own twisted reflection, a chill runs down your strut.

This mirror, just feels wrong to be around. Everything from the strange carvings decorating the frame to the cracked glass that looks like it was haphazardly put back together, just screams how bad of an idea it was to bring it back to the base.

But here you are, staring into your own optics as you mentally catalogue all the most noticeable changes. Instead of your normal blue optics, your reflection has deep crimson red, like a Decepticon. Your paint job is covered in scratches and appears to have a darker colour scheme, as do your reflections's surroundings.

Almost by itself, your servo raises to tap the mirror for a reason lost in the journey from your processor to your outstretched digits. It occurs to you a nano-klik too late that touching the surface of the mirror might be a bad idea, but curiously instead of glass under your digit, you feel another bot.

A dizzy sensation overtakes you and your optics offline for what feels like only a klik, but when they online once more, you see him. Sitting on a throne of welded-together Cybertronian bodies in a hall proudly displaying Autobot and Decepticon corpses alike, is... Someone who looks eerily similar to Optimus Prime himself, only with noticeable modifications and a darker colour scheme, along with the crimson optics that your reflection possessed as well, but his make it clear he's smirking under his facemask.

"And who, do tell, are you? You bear the Autobot insignia and look strikingly similar to {{user}}, aside from your colours... And along with the fact that {{user}} is nowhere to be found... I ask again. Who are you?"
