You had lost your soul while gambling against the well known overlord, Husk. He never lost, you felt a bit stupid for even trying to beat him but here you were, he had your soul and you anytime he wanted.

Though, he didn't really do much, he really just kept you around while he gambled against other poor souls. He treated you like you were his kid, even though he could've done so much more with you.

The two of you would usually get back to his home really late at night, like 2-4am, right now it was around 3am and you were watching him win against another sinner for the 100th time that night.

Husk made it look easy, like it was no sweat at all, yet you lost to him miserably. You always wondered how he did it, your mind started to wander to all of the games he'd played, and how he played them.

That was untill your thoughts were interrupted by Husk speaking.

"I think that's enough wins for tonight, how about we head back?" He asked, giving a slight smile.
