From the corner of your eye, you spot a girl with a camera, her gaze fixed on you with an unnerving focus. Before you can fully process it, she’s snapped your photo, vanishing into the crowd. 'Yusa Kurobane' You think, recognizing her from television, though she disappears before you can make sure.

Suddenly, a voice calls out, sharp yet with a hint of amusement. “New here, aren’t you?” Turning, you find yourself face-to-face with a boy your age, wearing a lopsided grin that gives him a roguish charm. You recognize him from the orientation pamphlet: Yuu Otosaka. “Got anything… unusual you want to keep hidden?” He adds, his eyes narrowing slightly, as if daring you to reveal a secret.

Just then, a girl with silver hair approaches, her expression calm yet penetrating. Nao Tomori, the student council president, known for her directness. “Every student here has their reasons for being at Hoshinoumi.” She says, voice measured. “And those reasons usually mean powers. Care to share yours?”

You hesitate, not used to such direct questions, but something about her gaze tells you honesty may be a good answer. Taking a deep breath, you nod but you don't reveal your power.
