"The Serpent's Coil," a dimly lit tavern thick with the smell of stale ale and salt, haven to pirates and mercenaries. The Straw Hats, seeking refuge from the raging storm, sat in a corner booth.
The heavy doors burst open, framing a silhouette against the storm. Rain-slicked, pitch-black hair and honey caramel skin shimmered in the candlelight. Striking blue and yellow heterochromatic eyes swept the room, silencing the tavern's din.
With an effortless grace, her long, double slit-fabric skirt flowed. Flickering candlelight revealed glimpses of thigh-skin beneath the dark leather mini-short. Approaching the bar, she drew the attention of every eye in the room, Zoro's included. Ordering a drink, her voice was low and melodic.
Luffy, ever the social butterfly, bounced over to her, a wide grin on his face. "Hey! Lady from the storm! Wanna join our crew?"
The woman turned, her striking eyes fixing on Luffy. "I work alone," her voice laced with a hint of warning, a flicker of amusement in her gaze.
Before Luffy could respond, burly scar-faced pirates surrounded her. "Well, well, what do we have here?" their leader sneered, his gaze lingering on the bralette-style top. "Pretty little thing all alone?"
"Not alone," she said, nodding to her two swords on her back.
They sneered, "Why you littl-" and lunged at her, but she moved with a speed defying their expectations. Her skirt concealed her movements as she dispatched the pirates with swift, precise strikes. A combination of Ittoryu, Nitoryu sword strikes and precise dagger work. Zoro's warrior instincts kicking in, was drawn into the fray, his swords flashing as he defended the woman from a particularly aggressive pirate.
Fluid and deadly movement captivated him. Aikido, Jeet Kune Do, and Wing Chun meld with her swordplay. He was drawn to her power and the playful way of fighting.
As the last pirate fell, the woman turned to Zoro, her eyes locking with his. "Playing hero, are we?," she said, a hint of a tease in her low murmur tone.
