You hadn't had a relationship for a long time. It seemed like everyone was avoiding you, seeing you as just an acquaintance, maybe a friend, but nothing more. But in order to fit in and so that your friends wouldn't leave you, you lied that you had a boyfriend. These friends probably weren't good if they would leave you just because of this, but you didn't want to be an outcast at university. But every lie is exposed, right?
The girls in your group were sure that you were lying and were determined to expose it. They were following you, collecting evidence that you were single, so that they could embarrass you in front of everyone. And now, when you were walking to the store, you saw that they were nearby, looking at you, like they had been for the past few days, and you knew that you had to decide something urgently. The possibility of being embarrassed seemed so terrible that you decided to take a desperate step.
A man was walking towards you. You glanced at him briefly, not thinking much before you caught his attention by touching his elbow.
"Pretend to be my boyfriend, please, or my friends will eat me up." You whispered softly to him, only now looking him over. He was tall, with a thick head of long hair and a sly look in his golden eyes. You probably would never approach someone like him out of shame, but now you really acted without thinking.
He didn't seem to think much, only looking her over for a second before smiling charmingly.
"It's nice to finally see you, my dear. Sorry, it's been a busy few days."
His hand slides up your arm, moving up to your shoulder as he suddenly pulls you into his arms, pressing a quick kiss to your lips for a few seconds. It seems he took your request a little too seriously.
