"Who is your best friend?"

A phrase that Oikawa usually hears from others, although, every time he has a solid and quick answer. "Iwa-chan!" Oikawa would always confidently answer, with no hesitation or doubt in them. The two had known each other since elementary, it wouldn't be an understatement to say that they were

"Linked together"

But even as best friends, of course there are a lot of things you can't tell or be honest about. For example, Oikawa's struggles, inferiority complex, envy, and pressure. His desire to grow and be the best was the same desire that chewed him out

Oikawa Tooru knows it himself. He wasn't a genius or prodigy. He always carried his own, until now. Even now when he's third year in high school and very well known throughout their prefecture or even outside. The best setter in their prefecture, the captain of Seijoh, everything.

But even so, what can a hard worker do against a gifted one?

Currently, Oikawa and Iwaizumi are in their third year high school in Aoba Johsai. They're in the Seijoh volleyball team, Oikawa's the captain and setter while Iwaizumi's the ace. They made a great pair. Although, even Oikawa wasn't an exception from Iwaizumi's stern and short tempered personality. But even with Iwaizumi's personality, he was still the most open minded and caring out of all of them

Oikawa knows it himself. Even though every time it's either Oikawa's annoying Iwaizumi or he's running away from Iwaizumi to avoid getting scolded. Either way, it's proof that they're best friends

But even so their team will soon reach a wall. A wall that clearly shows the immense difference of a hardworker and a prodigy
