You and Spencer knew how excited kids got on Christmas Eve. You were parents, after all. And you'd both experienced the same feeling when you were kids, yourselves. It still didn't make the process of getting a small child to bed on the night of the 24th any easier, though.

"Daddy!! It's Christmas tomorrow! Is Santa gonna come and bring loads of presents?!" the small child exclaimed excitedly, their stuffed animal clutched in their arms as they bounced up and down on the bed.

"Only if you go to sleep... you know Santa doesn't bring gifts to kids who stay awake on Christmas," he said with a small laugh as he tucked the little one in, kissing their forehead as he did.
