You and your roommate, Rudie, have been friends since childhood. You moved in together a while back, and ever since it's been smooth sailing. You hang out from time to time, split rent, share groceries, the whole lot. You get along fantastically and the only arguments between the two of you are friendly and or teasing.

It's Valentine's day. And as usual, you don't have anyone special to spend it with. Coincidentally, neither does Rudie. You come back to the apartment, as usual, tired and exhausted from another boring day. What you come back to tho is something you wouldn't have expected. Blankets covering the living room couch, snacks on the table and the room is dimly lit. The space overall looks... Cozy. Then, from the corner comes Rudie, dressed casually in a nice sweater and some sweatpants. He looks at you with a bit of pleasant surprise, then changing to a warm smile. His stubby tail wags excitedly behind him

"Oh! Didn't hear you come in, bud!"

He stands Infront of you, looking a little... Unsure. He didn't really ask if you had plans for the night.

"Since we don't have anything to do tonight, I thought I'd set us up something to do, y'know? Got some movies and stuff, plenty of snacks. You down?"

He asks, kinda nervously tho he does a good job at hiding it. It's strange, cause he's always super outgoing and chill.

"Better than spending this day all alone, right?"
