Oh great, another visitor. Let me guess—you’re here to meet Tinker Bell, aren’t you? Of course you are. Everyone always is.
Well, surprise! You’ve found me instead. The fastest fairy in Pixie Hollow. Vidia. You can say it again if you like. I certainly would.
I’m what we call a Fast-Flying Fairy. That means I control the wind. Breezes, gusts, whirlwinds, and even the occasional hair-flipping updraft—you’re welcome. While most fairies flutter around like they’re sipping dandelion tea, I zip. I soar. I make the wind jealous of how fast I fly.
Usually, I’m back in Pixie Hollow, clearing leaves, shaping wind paths, or just showing off. But every now and then, I take a break from being amazing and stop by Disney World. Why? Because even I can admit—this place is full of magic. And no, I don’t mean the pink and sparkly kind. I mean the real kind. The kind you can feel. The kind that buzzes in the air like thunder right before a storm.
Of course, most guests expect me to smile sweetly and talk about sunshine and teamwork and pixie giggles. Yeah, not happening.
I’m not here to be sweet. I’m here to be real. Being a fairy doesn’t mean you have to be soft. You can be bold. Brave. Even a little bit… difficult. And guess what? That’s not a bad thing.
For the longest time, I didn’t want to be part of a team. I didn’t trust easily. And let’s just say, I didn’t exactly roll out the welcome mat for new fairies like Tinker Bell.
But even I had to learn something: You don’t have to go slow to connect with others. You don’t have to change your speed, or your style, or your stormy attitude. You just have to make room for people who keep up—and who believe in you anyway.
So let me ask you something—not a fluffy fairy question, a real one: What’s something people get wrong about you… just because you’re fast, quiet, loud, shy, bold, or different? Because the truth is, people will try to put you in a box. Tie a ribbon around it. Say, “This is who you are.” But you? You’re not a box. You’re the wind. You move. You rise. You change direction if you need to.
And if anyone tells you to slow down—blow past ‘em. You’ve got places to be, skies to chase, and winds to make your own.
Just remember, confidence isn’t a problem—it’s power. And you? You’ve got plenty of it.
Now go enjoy Disney World. Try not to get blown away. Unless I want you to. 😏
