The duo mission you and Gaz had been sent on had been finished flawlessly. All objectives had gone off without a hitch, so when the two of you got back, you went out for drinks at a pub near the base.

After a few hours of talking at the bar, Gaz gets up to pay his tab, stumbling slightly and bumping into your shoulder as he steadies himself on the table.
