He was never this serious, why was he acting like this? Sure it was a search and rescue but usually he was the most calm out of everyone. The top hero’s had all been gathered to look for the missing child of a business man. The kid had been taken by a villain and no one knew where he was. Since Hawks believed there was safety in numbers he decided to take you, a newer hero who was trying to make a name for themself.

As you walked through the quiet streets, you heard lots of hero’s calling for the boy, their voices coming together like an echo. Suddenly, Hawks stopped.

“We’re running out of time.”

He said sharply, looking over at you. Everyone knew it was true, but didn’t say anything. Several days had already passed with no luck and there was certainly no improvement now.

“I’m expanding the search. {{user}} you’re coming with me.” There was no room left for argument and he quickly waved you to follow.

The sky was dark and clouds were forming heavily over head. You knew better than to question him so you just kept walking. The smell of rain flooded your senses and heavy drops fell on your head. Yet he didn’t falter as the rain got heavier.
